We are actively seeking to strengthen our team with an experienced sales and marketing professional.
Senior Sales Manager
Potential package up to circa £100,000 p.a.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Hunter in the UK and have the potential to lead the sales team as we continue to grow. We need an individual with directorship potential.
You will preferably be based in Kent and be prepared to work in a 'hands on' role. You must have plenty of public sector sales experience with excellent networking and PR skills gained within a similar role in the construction industry. Knowledge of selling to Housing Associations is essential.
You should have extensive experience of construction and social housing programme delivery and procurement.
Key Skills
- You have Account Management, People Management and Business Development skills gained in a business to business environment.
- You have proven communication skills backed up with an ability to maintain relationships at all levels within a business.
- You are a dynamic individual with the ability to develop close relationships with clients.
- you have strong interpersonal skills, and are an approachable individual, able to listen and react to the needs of clients.
You are a results orientated person who is able to produce results at a consistent level.
- You are outgoing and gregarious but can work effectively alone and pull together as part of a team when required.
- You have an ability to identify the key players in an organisation and their roles within it, combined with an ability to build relationships at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve the company's revenue goals.
- Produce accurate monthly forecasts.
- Generate new business.
- Develop existing business.
- Form strong customer relationships.
- The role will also carry a personal revenue target so it is essential you are comfortable in role of “player/manager”
Benefits: salary to £65k + bonus + car allowance + mobile + laptop + 5% pension & 25 days hols. Total package has the potential to circa £100,000
